Rob is the Managing Director of Maru/Blue, leading globally its online sample and data services business. Rob is an industry leading expert in online sampling and insight communities, regularly challenging the industry to hold true to the science of market research. He acts as the Maru Group expert in building high quality online panels and undertakes research on research into online sampling techniques, leading for him to be a sought out speaker on the challenges facing the online sample industry. He has spoken at CASRO, MRIA and SampleCon. He has written a number of whitepapers, blogs and is interviewed by leading MR publications about online sampling techniques and methods. He is also on the board of SampleCon, a leading consortium of forward thinking online sample/data firms changing the way the industry thinks about accessing high quality, engaged respondents.
With over 22 year’s experience in Market Research, Rob worked at Maru/Matchbox as Managing Director, Market Communities, and also served prior in the same capacity at Vision Critical. Prior, he held various roles at Ipsos as a Vice President focused on online data collection, online panels and insight communities.
